Living The Dream
After two decades of sailing and pulling lobsters from Maine's waters, Capt. Phil created MCC to share his passion for this place and for a way of life that exists here in Maine. Between sailing tall ships and commercial fishing in Alaska, Phil always returned to Maine for the boating season to run charter boats from the Kennebunk River. After years of running boats that tended to offer the same routine trips, the dream to run a boat that offers more customized adventures was born. MCC aims to provide experiences that make its guests feel alive through recreation and connection to the Maine Coast. In helping others enjoy this place, MCC hopes to contribute to preserving the Maine coast and public access to it by increasing appreciation for this resource and donating to land trusts and foundations dedicated to these goals. The coast of Maine is special; it's people, heritage and natural beauty come together to form a way of life people are drawn to. MCC wants to share this place and way of life with others. Join us and experience the magic of the Maine Coast!
"ISLANDER" - a Cutwater 30 Command Bridge, strikes the perfect balance for a day at sea. Packed with comforts, all the necessary safety and navigation equipment and a brisk cruising speed, she is ready to explore far off destinations while maintaining the comforts of home.
Though nothing can replace the sensation of making way through the water, its even better when you know your headed to a protected cove to anchor or to pull up to a seaside lobster pound for some local flavor. Depending on trip length, we target sights ranging from Portland Headlight, to the many islands of Casco Bay to the less visited waters to the east. There are seemingly limitless possibilities and our excursions allow you to pick from some spectacular locations. Along with the endless coves and harbors, below are links to a few of the dockside spots we frequent for lobster rolls, a cold beverage or an ice cream cone.

Captain Phil - "Skipper"
"From commercial fishing in the Bering Sea to tall ship sailing along the Atlantic seaboard, I've never found anything quite compares to a day on the water in my home state of Maine."
"I grew up on these waters and have no desire to leave them. The Maine Coast is my home and there is nothing I'd rather do then spend a day cruising its waters."
