Living The Dream

After two decades of sailing and pulling lobsters from Maine's waters, Capt. Phil created MCC to share his passion for this place and for a way of life that exists here in Maine.  Years of running boats that tended to offer the same routine trips inspired Phil to create a company that offers more customized experiences for its guests.  Each trip is private, unique and tailored to each party's desires.  Casco Bay offers a myriad of cruising destinations, light houses, historic forts, islands and inlets to explore.  In helping others enjoy this place, MCC hopes to contribute to preserving the Maine coast and public access to it by increasing appreciation for it and by donating to land trusts and foundations dedicated to the same goals.  MCC wants to share the real experience of the Maine Coast with others, join us for an experience you will be sure to remember.

"ISLANDER" - a Cutwater 30 Command Bridge, strikes the perfect balance for a day at sea.  Packed with comforts, all the necessary safety and navigation equipment and a brisk cruising speed, she is ready to explore far off destinations while maintaining the comforts of home.

Destinations

A Cruising Paradise

Conveniently based in Portland Maine, MCC is blessed to offer boat charters in one of the most picturesque destinations in New England.  With over 130 islands, 5 lighthouses, historic forts and excellent wildlife viewing, Casco Bay has almost endless sights to see and explore by boat.  The charm of the pristine bay is our backdrop while we cruise and see the sights.  If taking an excursion there are options such as beaches, waterside restaurants, coves to anchor and picnic or preserved islands to explore.  There is a reason the Maine coast is a destination for boating, come see for yourself!

Sailing

"From commercial fishing in the Bering Sea to tall ship sailing along the Atlantic seaboard, I've never found anything quite compares to a day on the water in my home state of Maine."

"I grew up on these waters and have no desire to leave them.  The Maine Coast is my home and there is nothing I'd rather do then spend a day cruising its waters."
